Photo ArtCards

Our Photo ArtCards are created on legendary Hahnemuehle FineArt paper. Hahnemuehle FineArt of Dassel, Germany, has been in operation since 1584 and is famous for its fine quality papers. We have carefully chosen a handmade, mouldmade, acid free, lightfast paper that beautifully highlights our photographs.

Hahnemuehle FineArt is committed to responsible environmental practices, including the establishment of raw material recycling; reuse of products; use of chlorine free cellulose; and selective purchasing of cultured wooden products from suppliers with a replanting policy.

All photographs are printed on high quality Kodak paper and have a lustrous-iridescent finish, resulting in a photograph that is not only stunning, but one that truthfully reflects the vivid colors and details of the image.

Eternity Collection

Mauritius artist Mirella Motet has carefully chosen fine quality English-made white Zeta Board Hammer stationery with matching envelope for her greetings. Her cards are 11cm x 16.5cm.

What is a Giclee?

Giclee is currently the most advanced digital fine art printmaking technology. Images are generated from high-resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks generating incredibly true colors onto various surfaces. Greetings With Heart uses a fine weave canvas (see closeup canvas sample at right) for its giclees.

Giclees are the perfect color accent for elegant interior decoration.

What is Letterpress?

The oldest form of printing. In this method, a surface with raised letters is inked and pressed to the surface of the printing substrate to reproduce an image in reverse. Letterpress work is crisper than offset litho because of its impression into the paper, giving greater visual definition to the type and artwork. The process requires a high degree of craftsmanship. Extraordinary letterpress printing is the trademark of the small Northern California press Greetings With Heart employs to create the whimsical designs for its Takahashi Letterpress Collection.

Working even a modern letterpress machine is a lot like riding a bike instead of driving. It requires a keen eye, coordination, and quite a bit of physical strength.
