What is a Giclee?
Giclee is currently the most advanced digital fine art printmaking technology. Images are generated from high-resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks generating incredibly true colors onto various surfaces. Greetings With Heart uses a fine weave canvas for its giclees.
- Each giclee is individually printed using pigment-based inks
- Pigment-based inks are less susceptible to fading than dyes
- Natural canvas is hand-stretched on a finger-jointed pine frame, which is light but sturdy
- Canvas stretch looks like a traditional painting (not a drum)
- Image is hand-coated with a medium gloss giclee veneer, creating a water resistant surface
- Veneer contains UV inhibitor
- All giclees come ready to hang

Any Photo ArtCard carrying a "g" next to its name can be transformed into a 22" x 28" canvas giclee print. All orders for same may be placed online.
